THE
MANIFESTO
SCAPEG AT

Hello and welcome,
The intention of this space is to offer guidance for personal growth, encouragement for self-exploration, and support in creating authentic relationships with ourselves and with others.
Why The Scapegoat Manifesto?
The scapegoat represents an archetype embodied by those who are sensitive to the disrupting factors of their environment or system, may it be the primary family system, the system of education and work or the larger system that we are all collectively embedded in.
If we were given the role of the scapegoat then that most likely meant that we stood out in a way that was non-accommodating for our environment.
It meant that we felt things more deeply and perceived the invisible dynamics that were often overlooked but greatly impacted our interpersonal realities.
It also meant that our ways of processing and adapting to life presented differences that were overlooked in their qualities as they did not effortlessly apply to the fast pace demands of our productive-driven world.
The Scapegoat Manifesto represents a space for our peaceful declaration of our worth, boundaries and integrity.
Let's dive in!
The term scapegoat comes from an ancient ritual where a sacrificial animal was burdened with the sins of the people and then exiled into the wilderness.
In families and other systems, the scapegoat is the one who carries the burdens or the unresolved dynamics that others refuse to acknowledge.
Living in this role can shape how we adapt, sometimes through perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, shame, guilt, or an ongoing search for belonging.
Yet, being the scapegoat is also a sign of a great capacity for seeing beyond the roles and conditions that we were given from the environment that we came from.
The mission:
Discovering the potentials of the scapegoat archetype is the mission of The Scapegoat Manifesto and if you have recognised yourself in this narrative, hope and growth are available:
through reclaiming the gifts that were once overlooked and releasing what was never truly ours to carry.
